How is the CBN tincture safety-tested?

Like all Bloom Farms CBD products, our CBN tincture is meticulously lab-tested (for potency, quality and safety) multiple times throughout the hemp growing and extraction process. During growth, the hemp plants are tested for pesticides. The raw extract and final product are re-tested for pesticides and additionally tested for heavy metals, microbes and solvents. Batch-specific COAs (certificates of analysis) from independent third-party lab(s) can be found on each product page and our Test Results page.

How much CBN tincture should I take?

The bottle contains 120 1/4 ml servings. As with our CBD tinctures, we recommend starting low and going slow. Begin with the smallest serving size and, if necessary, increase incrementally over time until you find the right amount for you. Best results are achieved by starting with the smallest serving size and increasing the number of servings over time until the desired effect is attained. How much CBD tincture should I take?

The standard serving size of our tinctures is 1/4 mL. Generally speaking, it is common for users to begin with 1 serving and increase the number of servings consumed at a time until a desired effect is achieved. Some people will find benefit with just our single serving size (2.5 mg with 300 mg Balance, 5 mg with 600 mg Relieve or 10 mg with 1200 mg Recover), but it is also common for users to consume CBD in increments of 10 mg, 20 mg or 50 mg at a time. The whole-plant hemp extract is combined with Organic MCT Oil (Coconut Oil), which was chosen as a carrier because of its natural antimicrobial properties and pleasantly neutral flavor that doesn’t mask the natural essence of the extract. Why is tincture a good ingestion method?

By ingesting sublingually (under the tongue where many capillaries reside), the active ingredient of a tincture—in this case, hemp-derived cannabinoids—reaches the bloodstream more quickly by bypassing absorption barriers like the intestines for maximum efficacy. This is the main reason tincture is a good way to take CBD.
